These terms govern access to and use of the JOA Cleaning Services website. They are website-use terms only. They are not a complete service contract and do not set payment, cancellation, access, damage, re-clean or other booking conditions.

Acceptance and lawful use

By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and in a way that does not damage, disable, overload, compromise or interfere with the website, its security, other users or our communications. You must not use automated tools to submit spam, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person or submit information you are not authorised to provide.

General information only

Website content is general information about our business and the types of services that may be available. While we aim to keep it accurate and current, service availability, scope, timing and suitability depend on the property and the agreed work. Images are illustrative and do not promise a particular result for every property.

Enquiries, quotes and bookings

Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking, require us to accept work or reserve a date. A binding service arrangement arises only when the parties agree the relevant quote or booking confirmation, including the service scope, price and date. Any specific written quote or booking terms accepted by the customer will govern the service to the extent of any inconsistency with these website-use terms.

No unconfirmed guarantee

Unless a guarantee or re-clean commitment is set out in written terms supplied with and applicable to an accepted quote or booking, website content must not be treated as creating a separate guarantee. Any written guarantee is additional to, and does not exclude, restrict or modify, rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Where services are supplied to a consumer, statutory guarantees may include that services are provided with due care and skill, are fit for an agreed purpose, and are supplied within a reasonable time where no time is fixed.

Website availability

We may update, suspend or withdraw website content or functionality. We do not promise that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free. This does not affect obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Third-party services and links

The website may use or link to third-party services, including FormSubmit and government information resources. Links are provided for convenience and do not amount to endorsement. We do not control third-party content, availability, security or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, the website branding, layout, text and original visual materials are owned by or licensed to JOA Cleaning Services. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, publish, sell, alter or commercially exploit substantial website content without permission or another lawful basis.

Liability relating to website use

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on general website information, temporary website unavailability, or third-party content outside our control. This clause does not apply to liability, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited and does not limit obligations applying to cleaning services under an accepted service arrangement.

Personal information submitted through the website is handled as described in our Website Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these website-use terms from time to time. The effective date above identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively from publication and do not alter an already accepted quote or booking unless separately agreed or permitted by law.

Governing law

These website-use terms are governed by the laws applicable in Queensland, Australia. This clause does not remove any right a person may have under applicable consumer or other mandatory laws.
